The Southern Highlands Reserve is a repository for natures beauty, boasting an extensive collection of native azaleas and ornamental native wildflowers. We prepared precedent studies that have guided the development of the garden and by developing a 50 year masterplan for the garden, they have committed to carrying on the important task of preserving and studying sensitive ecological systems in western North Carolina.
